It was a wonderful walking quilt show. Everyone that showed up for September’s membership meeting was in awe of all the beautiful quilts that were being donated to the Area Agency on Aging Region III of Kalamazoo County. We ended up with 149 quilts –well done quilters!! If you want to see most of the quilts donated, please check out our Facebook page.
Also at the meeting, the membership showed board support for our new permanent meeting place, Westwood Christian Reformed Church, which was highlighted in last month’s newsletter.
In November “Lovies” are due. Please label them with your own handmade label or pick up a label at October’s meeting. Remember even the smallest quilts are touched by many hands, so we want to show KLCQ pride with our labels.
