Another beautiful meeting night

Another beautiful meeting night at Oshtemo Park. There were lots of quilts to chat about in the individual groups and it was amazing to hear all their stories. As we all know very well, every quilt has a story.

This was our last meeting at the park. It has served our needs well but it’s time to move on. As many of the members heard at the meeting, we will not be able to return to the Second Reformed Church for our future meetings. We do however have a temporary place to hold our next meetings until a suitable location can be found to meet the needs of our members and programs. The church is the Westwood United Methodist Church located at the corner of West Main and Nichols Road.

We will be meeting in Simpson Hall which is located on the lower level of the church. Enter from the West Main Entrance marked by the electronic sign. There are two east-facing entrances, the entrance with the large portico has access to the elevator. There are two parking lots, one on the south side of the building nearest the ‘elevator’ entrance and another on the east side which accesses the stairs into Simpson Hall.

As I mentioned earlier, this is a temporary move until February or March 2022. We are interested in your thoughts about different locations and processes with which to make this decision. Please email your input to Laura Bell, Vice President.
