President’s Message – September 2025

Longing for Fall?

I certainly am!

Let’s hope we can welcome the start of cooler fall weather and pleasant evenings to open our windows and enjoy the fresh air.

The August Ice Cream Social and Challenge Reveal were a big hit! I know that everyone enjoyed the sundaes with Jeanne Jager’s homemade hot fudge sauce. The Small Groups did a great job of showcasing their talents and explaining their group dynamics.

I hope you participated in the games that the Fellowship Group organized. It was a great way to meet and socialize with your fellow Log Cabin Quilters.

The Disappearing Block and Mug Rug reveals were also fun to see. Once again, our guild displays a lot of creativity and skill.

September will bring a fun lecture and workshop by Lisa Ruble. Learn about her process of designing a fabric collection during her presentation at our next General Meeting on September 16th. Lisa’s workshop
on September 17th uses her pattern Twister, a fun way to use fabrics from your stash. Sign up soon if you haven’t already done so!
