Our Holiday Party and Lovie Extravaganza are just around the corner on November 18th. Please remember that this event is on the 3rd Tuesday of November, and it starts earlier than our typical meetings. Doors will open for members at 5:15pm. I hope I’ll see many of you there to share the fun. How many lovies can we donate this year?
I thoroughly enjoyed Tammy Silver’s lecture on Interrogating Your Quilt. I know I talk to my quilting projects at times, especially when they are not behaving as I want. Having the quilt talk to me will make that a two-way conversation!
Tammy’s workshop to make the Garden Stroll table runner was inspiring and fun. I always learn new tips from both the instructor and other participants.
What a wonderful display of quilts at our October Show and Tell. Many were created or at least started during our Quilting Retreat. Reports indicate everyone there had a great time and is looking forward to next year.
After our Holiday Party, we will each go our own way for a couple of months. Kalamazoo Log Cabin Quilters will not meet again until February 17th, 2026. Have a great Holiday Season!
