Welcome Back Green Fields & Bright Flowers!
I love this season of daffodils, tulips & azaleas. Their bright colors help shake away those dreary winter moods. Many of those colors are seen in my fabric stash – how about yours?
I’m working on getting my gardens ready for Spring. I’m anxious to plant the annuals but I have learned (the hard way) to wait on that chore until very close to Memorial Day. In the meantime, I work to clear out last year’s leaves and stems and remove the oak leaves that always find their way deep into the branches. I can’t forget to spread the pellets that keep those pesky deer from eating my hostas.
Not all of my energy will be used on gardening this month. I’m also using my time to finish quilts for the June charities. I hope you have shared my inspiration to make quilts for the Seita Scholars and the Kalamazoo Area Agency on Aging. We’ll see those at our June Charity Event!!
