My gardens are planted, the hummingbirds are back at my feeders, and we are now in the season of weddings and graduations. I imagine many of you are finishing up quilts to give as gifts.

I loved the reveal of our Mystery Quilter, Lynne Hall, at the May meeting. I knew Lynne had been a member of Kalamazoo Log Cabin Quilters for a long time. The clue about the membership date made me suspect that she was our Mystery Quilter this year. It was wonderful to see her trunk show and learn about what inspired her.

This month will be another exciting meeting, as we will present our quilts to the Seita Scholars and the Kalamazoo Area Agency on Aging. I look forward to hearing from those agencies to learn more about what they do for our community.
