So Many Lovies!
Our members are so generous with their time and skill. Almost 300 handcrafted “Lovies” were presented to Family and Children Services and YWCA of Kalamazoo at the KLCQ November 2023 meeting and holiday party. Lovies are small hand-made quilts wrapped around a stuffed animal. They bring joy and comfort to children experiencing health issues and …
Charitable in 2023
Two organizations will be served for our June 2023 charitable project this year, the YMCA KORU House and Family Promise of Branch County. Representatives will be at our June 20, 2023 Meeting sharing their services and needs. More information about the project is here.
Call for Entries
KLQG is proud to sponsor a $200 prize to be awarded to a winning art quilt in the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts 2023 West Michigan Area Show. The call for entries is open to adults residing in 14 southwest Michigan counties. Submissions are due March 26, 2023. More information and application here.
