We have so many exciting things happening. Our guild history is now at the Zhang WMU Archives. We have a Thursday Evening small group starting.
We had a wonderful general meeting with Lisa Ruble as our presenter. Lisa shared her technique for reverse applique. This technique can be used with many simple shapes. Our workshop the following day was lots of fun. One quilter remarked it was a nice way to get to know other quilters.
Coming up we will have Christina Camelli as a workshop leader Monday, April 17. She will be our guest lecturer at our meeting on Tuesday, April 18. Christina is known for her encouragement of free style custom quilting and use of scraps. We still have openings for
her class. Please sign up to support your guild and learn a new skill. Christina has a very large online following.
In May, we are looking forward to Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs. I will be demonstrating her special ruler at our next meeting.
Until then, Happy stitching!
