What an incredible display of our talent and community commitment for our June Charity Event! It’s hard to believe that we contributed a total of 246 quilts between the Seita Scholars and the Area Agency on Aging. What a pleasure to be leading our Guild!
As a representative of Kalamazoo Log Cabin Quilters, I was able to be present at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts when they announced the 2025 winners of their West Michigan Area Show. Our fellow member, Jackie Skarritt, was the recipient of the Fiber Arts Prize that our guild sponsors!
It should be an interesting lecture from Kathi Sweet during our General Meeting this month. I took her workshop when she was here. I look forward to her story and trunk show!
