Our first in-person meeting at Oshtemo Park was absolutely delightful. Even the weather graced us with an evening of less humidity and no rain. It was wonderful seeing the longawaited ugly fabric/Dresden plate challenge projects. If you didn’t make it to the meeting be sure to check out Facebook for some pictures of the evening.
As a token of “we missed you”, members received a KLCQ tote bag with fat quarters. If you haven’t received your tote bag, come to the next meeting because there’s one waiting for you. It’s a great way to promote and publicize our organization. The Membership Committee has put a challenge out to all members that they will recruit one new member before the end of this year. Let’s see if we all can meet that challenge. I think I may have recruited someone today!! If not, I’ll keep on trying.
